sorry i haven't been around to update this blog. i've had a lot of things going on in my life since july & things are finally starting to settle down, finally! so now that i'm back, i'm busy catching up with the important stuff: creating (again! yay!), dt commitments & posting on the boards. so, with that said, another thing that i am doing is i'm moving my blog. lol! yes, i know, this is probably the third time i've done so since i started blogging but i finally found a home that i have been loving. it's so much easier to use & it's been heaven setting it up. i was only gonna try it out but i ended up loving it so much that i'm there to stay. for good this time! lol! seriously, why i waited this long to try this place out heaven knows.

just me, in my own words
also for those wondering about tdx, in mid july i stepped down from the dt as did a bunch of the ladies. as sad as it was to leave i knew that it was time & i had to do it. the reasons to why i left i'll keep to myself as i don't believe in letting the whole world know about it. a handful of friends know as do the girls who left around the same time i did & we had our reasons for leaving. as to what happens to the tdx blog, that, none of us have any clue as we were just dt members & not the owner of the challenge blog. should any of you have any questions regarding what is happening with it or if the blog is still running, you can email: thedesignx@gmail.com. i cannot promise that your emails will get answered as i no longer am a member of the blog but that is the best avenue to send inquiries to.

tdx & class sneak
just finished this page for this week's tdx prompt which you can find here. hope you can play with us this week! it's a super fun one! tfl!
journaling: was i ever thinking? i was 18 in this photo. it was my 1st year in college, my first year away from my parents. my 1st year of freedom, i could do anything i wanted. well, as a gift to myself on my 18th birthday, i decided to get my hair done, specifically i wanted a perm. my hair has always been straight so i wanted some curls. bad idea! it was cool the first few days but after that, ugh! disaster! never, ever again will i do something that stupid!
materials: patterned paper (fancy pants, lily bee), journaling spots (7 gypsies, fancy pants), die-cuts (lily bee), stamps (kenner road, hero arts), chipboard alphabet (pink paislee), chipboard accents (pink paislee), rub-on (fancy pants), alphabet mask (sassafras), flower (prima), sticker (chatterbox), bingo fabric (kenner road), spray ink (maya road), ink (versafine), pen (american crafts), baker's twine (miscellaneous), kit (kenner road)
on other news, i'll be teaching a class at my lss lasting impression this saturday. here's some info about the class, sale & some sneaks of what to expect.
learn new techniques and make fun projects using products from w r memory keepers, cosmo cricket, and sassafras lass's newest lines as well as products from maya Road, making memories, american crafts, collage press, daisy ds, my mind's eye, fancy pants and scenic route!
there are only 24 slots available.
